Less degradation, more yield over the years

Trina builds this panel with N-Type i-TOPCon cells, which are considerably less sensitive to LID and LeTID degradation than classic PERC cells. As a result, the yield stays high, even in the long term. In the first year the maximum degradation is only 1%, after which the panel declines by no more than 0.4% per year. Consequently, the panel still delivers at least 87.4% of its original power after 30 years. The Trina Solar Vertex S+ 455Wp also performs excellently in warm weather thanks to its favourable temperature coefficient of -0.29%/°C, because the power loss in heat remains limited.

Glass-glass construction with a high load capacity

The double glass construction protects the cells optimally against severe weather conditions. The panel withstands a pressure load of up to 5,400 Pa snow load and a wind load of up to 4,000 Pa. Furthermore, the junction box is IP68 certified, so dust and water do not stand a chance. The black anodised aluminium frame also offers excellent resistance to corrosive environments, while the panel operates within a wide temperature range of -40 to +85 °C. Thanks to these properties, the panel keeps performing reliably anywhere.
