Growatt ARK High voltage set for SPH

To build a basic system with the Growatt ARK High voltage home battery for SPH, you need a number of components. We have bundled them here so you no longer have to puzzle it out yourself.

For a fully working Growatt ARK battery set for SPH you need at least the following:

• 3x a Growatt ARK 2.5H-A1 High voltage battery
• The Growatt HVC 60050-A1 BMS
• Cabling for the Growatt ARK High voltage battery
• If you want to install it on the floor, you will also need the Growatt ARK Base.

So you need at least 3 battery modules. That gives you a capacity of 7.68kWh, but you can expand the system to 10 modules, which gives you a capacity of 25.6kWh.

Please note that you need a Growatt ATS (Automatic Transfer Switch) to comply with the NEN standards while you use the backup power function, and that the inverter only knows when to charge or discharge if you also install the Growatt smart meter 3-phase that is supplied as standard in the box of the inverter.

The Growatt ARK High Voltage set for SPH uses cobalt-free lithium iron phosphate cells (LFP) and has protection rating IP65. The system is scalable from 7.68 to 25.6 kWh nominal, with a usable capacity of 6.9 to 23.04 kWh depending on the number of modules. The standard charge/discharge power rises from 3.75 kW with 3 modules to 12.5 kW with 10 modules, but the final output still depends on the connected inverter. The ARK HV series is suitable for wall or floor installation, has natural cooling and works within an ambient temperature of -10 to +50 °C.
