Solarstell Connect back plate landscape

The Solarstell Connect back plate landscape is a mandatory part of the Solarstell Connect landscape mounting system, because of the wind load. Fix it with 2 cladding screws on the outermost base elements, and 1 screw per shared base element.

Every solar panel needs one back plate.

It is possible that the back plate is longer than the panel. In a row you can simply slide the back plates into each other, but with a single panel this is not possible. In that case you can grind a small piece off the back plate, which leaves your warranty on the item intact.

This is the new Solarstell CONNECT mounting system. It needs less ballast, and it lets you place the rows closer together! Feel free to keep 70 cm between the rows without any shading, or 50 cm, in which case the bottom strip will be shaded in the morning, in the evening and in winter.

The Solarstell CONNECT mounting system for flat roof landscape always has a tilt angle of 13 degrees and is a linked system, so far less ballast is needed.

Connectors to link the rows together are optional and can be added in the next step. With this system it is mandatory to use back plates.
